In addition to his parents survivors include his step mother Angie Short of Bud, a brother Coty Short of Arkansas, a step sister Cheyenne Akers of Mullens, a step brother Justin Reed of Itman, his grandfather Roger Buck Adkins of Turkey Creek, two aunts Sherry (Bobby) Sparks of Pineville and Barbara (Danny) Bragg of Oceana, very close cousins Joseph Sparks of Pineville, Taylor (Tyler) Cooke of Oceana, Jenny (Daniel) Estep of Welch and Jude Estep of Welch, and a host of other loving family and friends. Bereavement is not bound by the 9-to-5 dictates of a corporate culture.
