MATTOON The Coles County Sheriff's Office reported that a man who was found dead Tuesday afternoon at Lake Paradise died from an apparent se, The Mattoon Fire Department reported that the fire's cause appears to have been incendiary in nature, as there were no utilities to this vacan, Charleston and Mattoon firefighters who comprise that team put their training into practice as they helped Clark County emergency responders f. The driver was said to be traveling northbound on Hough Street before veering into the center line and striking the tree. The Cook County Medical Examiner identified the victims as 85-year-old Richard Wetterholm of Wheeling and 78-year-old Mary Gulbranson of Barrington. On Wednesday morning, state police identified the driver as 25-year-old Cody Geist of Tucson, Ariz. Police initially said the semi driver was transported to a local hospital. After a Cook Countyaccident, there are manyissues that need to be handled immediately.
